TSM
FEE POLICY
TSM relies on prompt payment from every
member to pay our coaching staff and lane dues. Your account
will incur charges for the
following:
- Quarterly membership dues
(1st day of the month): December, March, June and
September
- Swim meets (individual events, surcharge
and meet processing fee - detailed
below)
- Annual patron
fee
- Snack Bar Assessment (when TSM hosts a
meet - currently the club hold two meets one in September and one
May)
Effective 3/1/12, TSM
will no longer be accepting personal
checks. You will receive an email
stating the amount due on your account at least 5 days prior to the
due date, which is the 1st of each month. If you wish to check your
status regarding this invoice, login to your TSM account and review
the invoice detail. Acceptable methods of payment will be
automatic withdrawals, debit
cards, and or credit cards. It is the
member’s responsibility to make sure the method in which the
dues are paid is a valid one so that the payment can be processed
by Teamunify successfully. For example, when you are
invoiced on August 25, 2012, Teamunify will process the autopay on
September 1,
2012.
In the event your payment is
declined, an email will be generated and sent to your login email
address on the same day. Please contact the TSM treasurer and make
an immediate alternate payment within 48 hours. If an alternate
payment is not made within the 48 hour window, an individual
swimmer's membership could be suspended for not paying the dues.
And, if the full payment is not made by the the swimmer's account
by the 10th of the month, a $25 late fee will be added to the
account. In addtion to the late fee, any and all fees charged to
TSM for declined ACH, credit card and Team Unify individual batch
transactions will be allocated to your account. Should your account
bill remain unpaid, you will be contacted by a collection
agency.
Past due
accounts: The late fees set forth above shall be imposed
on the 10th day of the month.
Additionally, should the account balance remain unpaid by the
10thday of the month in which you are
invoiced,your account will be
canceled and your swimmer will neither be allowed to participate in
practice nor attend meets representing TSM until payments are
made.
Credit Card Declined Fee: For each
failed credit card transaction, you account will be assessed a
$10.00 fee. This fee is to cover the fees charged by the credit
card processing company for each failed credit card
transaction.
Fees are not discounted for swimmers not
making the scheduled practices. No refund/credits will be
issued after the first day of the billing cycle.
Should you wish to stop participating with
TSM, notice must be submitted in writing a minimum
of seven days prior to the beginning of a new quarter (i.e.: prior
to November 24th for the December quarterly dues
cycle). Send your notice to the TSM Treasurer,
David Newberg (dlnrhino@gmail.com).
A swimmer who chooses not to attend
workouts for a portion of a quarter is not entitled to pro-rated
fees. A swimmer who decides to pursue another interest for the full
quarter may take leave and pay a Reinstatement Fee of
$100 for the
quarter which will hold his/her place on the team. He/she must
return the following quarter or forfeit his place on the
team.
Swim Meets: Members are
responsible for committing to the meet prior to the
deadline. On occasion, the deadline date is moved to an
earlier date to ensure TSM is accepted into the meet. Please
make sure attention is made to emails regarding meet
deadlines. Membership is responsbile for the following
swim meet fees: meet entry fee, SCS Surcharge, $5.00 per
swimmer TSM surcharge to cover processing costs. For meets
that include heats and finals and therefore require additional
staffing, the TSM surcharge is
$25.00.
Traditionally TSM will host one swim meet
in Fall and another one in Spring. In lieu of asking
each TSM family to donate foods items that can be sold at swim meet
snack bar and provide hospitality to officials, administrators
and coaches, the Board authorized a $25.00 snack bar assessment
fee per family for each meet hosted by
TSM.
TSM

of their ability is one of the goals at TSM. In order to
achieve this goal, the swimmer must attend the minimum number of

responsibility to do so. Refund requests with a
doctor’s note stating that the athlete is unable to
participate for an extended period of time due to a medical
