The TSM Pre-Competitive Swim Team is an introductory program for children ages 5-10 that includes basic instruction in:

Four competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke,breaststroke, freestyle)

Starts and turns
-
Introduction to racing technique and tactics.

In each session, we divide the swimmers by age/ability into a group that swims from 4-4:45pm and one that swims from 4:45-5:30pm. Swimmers can attend as many days during the week as they like in their assigned time slot. On Friday, all swimmers are invited to participate in "Fun Fridays" from 4-4:45pm. At Culver, the swimmers are combined into one group. A coach is in the water with the children for every class in order to facilitate closer and more personal instruction. Swimmers are encouraged to attend both classes per week. The program runs on a quarterly schedule with a fee of $225. Feel free to join at anytime.
