Congrats to the Class of 2020

WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE TIME TO HONOR OUR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO HAVE BEEN WITH TSM FOR MANY YEARS!

GIULIANA CASTRO

Giuliana Castro has been with TSM for a year and a half but swimming competitively for 10+ years. Castro was named Female Swimmer of the Year 2020 for high school swimming and MVP. She spent 6 years as an LA County Junior Lifeguard!

Giuliana volunteered with Ride to Fly, which is therapeutic horseback riding for children with disabilities. As well as a volunteer for the Arthritis Foundation, Interact Club Volunteer, and Ballona Creek Renaissance Club.

This fall she will be attending Santa Monica City College then transferring to a university.

SAMMY TELANOFF

Sammy has been with TSM for 10 years, and a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American for 2018-2020. Sammy has ranked in the National Top 10 for 200 BR LCM, SCS Top 2 for 200 BR LCM.

He has accepted an offer to UCSB but will defer a year. He’d like to study engineering but is also considering economics, business, and political science. 

Academically, Sammy has earned the California State Seal of Bi-literacy for Spanish, National Merit Scholar- Commended Student, and an AP Scholar with Distinction.
